Accounting Refund Specialist

Classification: Non-Exempt

Level: Tier I

Salary Range: $18.00 to $21.00 with monthly incentive potential (equivalent to an average of $3.00 to $4.00 per hour)

Reports to: Client Accounting and Reporting Supervisor

Summary/Objective

Are you detail-oriented, proficient in Excel and Word, quick on the calculator and keyboard? Do you enjoy investigation and research? Are you organized and dependable?

Required Education and Experience

  • High attention to detail
  • Good keyboarding skills
  • Accuracy, consistency and reliability
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Initiative and good time/task management skills
  • Quick Book knowledge and experience


Preferred Education and Experience

  • A college degree or post high school education or office skills certification preferred
  • Intermediate Windows & MS Office skills.


Work Authorization

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position requires 40 hours per week with some time outside of the normal hours.


Travel

This position does not have any anticipated travel.
